Periodontal Surgery is the removal of bacterial plaque and calculus (tartar) from around the teeth and below the gum-line.

Why have Periodontal Surgery?

If Periodontitis is not treated in time it can cause gum disease and tooth loss. Periodontal treatment may be necessary in order to stabilise the patient's dental condition before any restorative work can begin.
